Has anyone done this from overseas. Is it possible to disconnect and then have the connection reinstated when you return to Croatia?

BUT you will need to make the request in person. They will not accept a Punomoc or fax or email request . You must go to their office in person

That's great. Its a shame that they will not accept a punomoc though.
You know what Croatia needs to do? Rent out a room in their consulates or embassies to T-com, HEP, Vodavod, any one of the banks and the tax office. Put a notary in there too and we'd have a whole set!
Chances of this happening versus finding a snowflake in hell?

You must go to their office in person This has changed and you can do it by email by sending your request to prigovori@t.ht.hr It does cost of course.
