My residency card will expire next year. Is it a hassle to renew?. Was granted Residency because my Spouse is a Croatian Citizen. Have a home here, in Spouses name. Registered our marriage here, years ago. We both have a bank account.
Just wondering what my options are? Do I need to renew every 5 years? Any other choices?
If citizenship is an option, do I have to give up my citizenship from another country or can I have both? I know many Croatians living elsewhere, such as USA or Canada that have not given up their Croatian citizenship with they be were naturalized.
Are their advantages to becoming a citizen?

if you been here in croatia for 5 years ..you have the right to apply for Stalni boravak / permanent resident .. after you got the permanent resident and you are married from Croatian Citizen then you can immediately apply for Croatian citizenship .also if you married from Croatian Citizen you dont have to give up your citizenship from another country . but back to your q about Renewing a Boravsna Iskaznica there are no problem for you about it at all..just go and apply bring the papers what they need such income and married paper etc ..thats it
