propuh is basically a draft passing through a room or your house or if you open your car windows. ive heard storys of people who have washed their hair and been exposed to the propuh and ended up with half their face hanging uncotrolably. or your brain could freeze.i dont know how this fear and storys about the propuh came about . i would really like to know if its only croats who have this fear of the propuh??? that must explain why there are hardly any convertible cars in croatia. haha

what's bells palsy got to do with the draft Als? My wife has a deadly fear of leaving her hair wet for too long. She says it gives her a splitting headache. She's not adverse to opening the sun roof on a car though.

Half the face hanging uncontrolably would suggest to any doctor with half a brain...Bells Palsy...unless he could spot another 'anvil dropping on the head' explanation. Simple. Take it or leave it. My brother had it some years ago. Required urgent injections, and he was fixed. Winds...propuh...Cobblers.

i dont blame the propuh for anything. when i ask people why they are affraid of the propuh.they tell me that it will make them catch a cold , get sick. my whole life ive been opening windows and doors in australia , in summer , to let the breeze through the house ... and opening the car window . and since ive come to croatia , i cant do any of that ..everyones complaining.

I hate stuffy rooms and love all the windows open..... then I get yelled at tjat someone will get sick.... VERY VERY STUPID.... wind won't get you sick.... unless it is coming from someone's !

als..were you refering to me as "brain dead"? i dont think you understood what i wrote. explain yourself. Oh bugger. So you are a doctor, one would assume. Or not. Then IF you, and are a doctor, had a patient with no other symptons than, out of the blue, half the face then goes in to spasm. As in, you can't close one half of the mouth etc...dribbling....would you not think Bells Palsy? No...Okay. Fair enough. Why am I even replying to this. I think you need to explain yourself. But not to me. I don't care. Seriously, about ANYTHING!

you dont understand me at all. i didnt say that i personally think that a hanging face is caused by the propuh. thats what some people think in croatia . not me. im just telling you why people here are affraid of the propuh. i came from australia. i personally am not affraid of the propuh. but croats here in croatia are . i would do anything to have a breeze blowing through the house right now. i do not claim to be a doctor. i am not a doctor. i would gladly open my car windows on a hot day. i know people in croatia who have something against ducted heating and cooling. they say that they dont want anyything "blowing in the middle of their house. " now that to me is unbelievable. the govt should make a tv commercial telling people that the propuh is harmless.

You are most un-Australian. I have had some good chill outs with Ozzies. Good deals, good yarns. Never tied a kangaroo down though. Rolf Harris. He is the ! Who gives a monkeys about the propuh...What? Winds...buras, jugos, they have a name for everything here and it's all just 'air'. I have winds passing in all directions through my house. Night and day. Especially when the wife's on cabbage and grah. Bunch of hypochondriacs. With good reason. One year here and I've shortened my life by ten, maybe more. Bit o'hard yakka, that's what they need. I know people here who NEVER move off the settee. They sleep on it, and watch teletext betting all day.....FOR FUN! (Someone boasted to me this week they'd eaten a sheeps head for breakfast....6.30...Jeez!) Now, what's that mythical devil like creature called down under....THE BUNYIP...Now you're talking sport. Bash me drago.....Croatia needs the bunyip! Sundarise....in the morning...sundarise...every every....(wobble board solo)........

im not un australian at all. you think aussies are "easy going" ? i know that if you were to call most aussies "brain dead" that youd end up with a broken nose ...at least ..if you are lucky. aussies are not easy going at all. the rolf harris image you have of australia is for children. australia is a pretty violent country . and thats actually one reason why croatia appeals to me.

Als - please never leave this forum - your posts are what keep me going through these pages day, after day, after day.............. Hvala vam Gospoja (ica).......My wife is going back to England soon...(I hope) and I will need a curry cook. This 'valiant' character is not Australian. 'Australia is a violent country'. Croatia appeals to 'him' because it also is a ....quote... a 'violent country'. Can you believe anyone could type that out!!! Amazing. Stick with me baby. I am, and I'm working on government sponsorship even..."The UK voice of Croatia"........They love me here. I even went shopping in Jollies today and left my money at home. 'Nema problema...we know you, bring the money anytime'.

looks like anna deleted my previous post . "alsdoubles" what kind of name is that ?? and if you cant read , at least try to be nice. looks like your picking up some of that good old croatian zajebani mentality. you must have people pating your back every time you go out the front door and telling you how great you are and what a trap youve fallen into by moving to croatia. ej ..but dont take your frustration out on me. i thought you were a nice guy. im always disapointed with the nice guys ..they always end up being the real aholes. with all that curry , i wouldnt want to be anywhere near sibenik when you fart .
