Hello all,
I'm based in the UK and am interested in learning Croatian more formally - can anyone recommend a good online course? (Unfortunately I'm in a rural area so travelling to classes in cities isn't an option.)
Thanks in advance!

It's a very tough language; the only Brits I have seen who managed to pick it up well; lived out there and spoke it daily. There's usually language packs on torrents like isohunt you can d/l for free.

Try www.easycroatian.com/It's run by Linda Rabuzin and, I believe, she does some on-line stuff plus some lessons via Skype.

I'd suggest trying here - www.goethe-verlag.comI have just moved to Croatia and it's one very tough language to learn. Good luck and perhaps you'd be interested in my blog www.chasingthedonkey.com , which is about learning croatain, food etc.

Hey there, We're a Croatian language school ... based in Munich, but we offer individual online lessons and also organise language trips in Croatia twice a year. This year we'll be in Pula for Easter and in Crikvenica for two weeks in August, we're already counting down the days (winter in Munich is cold and depressing). If you have any questions, feel free to contact us, you can find out more on our website, Learn Croatian. Pozdrav iz Münchena! Iva P.S. If you're interested in finding out your language level, try our online Croatian test :-)
