I saw that in north beaches are mostly stony.In south mostly sandy.What about the islands part ?

Mostly stony and pebbly. Although there are some nice sandy beaches, for example Sakarun beach on Dugi otok island.

On the islands, the beaches are mostly made of pebbles and rocks. But you on the central dalmatian islands you can find a beautiful sandy beaches. On the Vis island: Stoncica beach and Zaglav beach, Hvar: Grebisce beach, Brac: Lovrecina bay.
