Wish I knew what the exchange rate would be in September...would make me a fortune as a currency trader currently it is around 8.7kuna to £1, but could easily be 10%+ either way depending on Brexit negotiations!!

Hello, regarding restaurants, I would say it depends where you eat- the restaurants in the best spots in Mlini tend to have the highest prices. I'd recommend the Flamingo Restaurant just on the main road in Mlini if you are looking for value for money particularly - best portions and prices, and good food. It's a nice restaurant with a vine covered terrace, it's just by the road so not the best position. At the moment prices for basic items are about the same as in England but as the previous poster said, that could change depending on the exchange rate. I never usually find Croatia particularly expensive day today day like other European countries, prices tend to be quite 'normal' but obviously you can make it expensive by going to more pricey places, just like anywhere...
