Split to Hvar after 5pm - September 5th?

Hi there, my friends and I are travelling to Hvar on 5th September 2017, and our flight arrives at 4.20pm. However we've just realised that the last Jadrolinja ferry leaves for Hvar at 5pm! 

Is there any other way to get to Hvar later in the day, or will we need to stay in Split for a night? 

I've had a look online but can't see anything.

You could also take the last ferry to Starigrad on Hvar at 20:30 and organize a Taxi to Hvar

Hello,
I think there is one ferry at 8pm. The best thing you can do is book a taxi from Split airport and tell the driver your problem. That is the fastest and safest way to get there and they will have all the information that you need.
