Hi
We are regular visitors to Istria. My son is holidaying with his friends this year and wants to hire a car for a few days - so he can show them Motovun/Groznjan and Kamenjak in particular. Problem might be the fact he will only be 19 at the time, but has only held his licence for 18 months.
Does anyone know of any car hire companies in Pula that will allow him to hire a car? Some have said there may be an additional local charge but do not say what it is.
Thanks.
Phil

"In order to rent a car in Croatia, you must be at least 18 years old (age restrictions may vary depending on car category), and have held your licence for at least one year. Drivers under 25 should be aware that they may incur a young driver surcharge." www.autoeurope.co.uk/go/car-hire-croatia/
