OK Nadia. I was asking if you speak Russian and asking why you'd like to learn Croatian (Hrvatski). I was in Belarus for a while so I got know the Russian language to a point, I find it a beautiful tongue. When you say "learn Croatian", do you mean you want courses, home study or just swop a few things on-line? There are plenty of good speakers on these boards and quite a few of us wannabees.

just to swap a few things online, the only problem is that i can only recive emails, i have none of the voice stuff or chat stuff because i'm using my school computer and the school has banned most places. i don't have the internet or a computer at home... so, yea, i can only do this through email as i said before....

Hi, Thought I'd tag on to your topic Nadia, 'cos I'm also new here. I've been married to my Croat wife for 8 years, and just discovered this forum. Interesting! There's some very fiery and upfront debates on here. I'd expect no less from a Croat forum We're moving (back?!) to Dalmatia next year, so it's good for me to read people's views from both sides. I have GREAT in-laws in Dubrovnik and couldn't have asked for a better family to marry into. Are there any other Anglo-Croat couples living in/near Dubrovnik here?
