Hi,
(a) Ireland has a joint tax agreement with Croatia, does this means that I have to declare any rental income on my Irish self assessment form and pay tax, the same as if it were additional income.
(b) If so, can I charge expenses such as painting, renovation, 5% purchase tax, property management fees etc...against this rental income, so as to limit liability.
(c) Croatian law states that no Capital Gains Tax is payable if one does not sell a property within 3 years...Do this mean I don not have to pay Capital Gains Tax in Ireland either?
Any advice very welcome !

I am not a tax expert, but if you are renting property in Croatia and pay taxes there, you definately do not have to pay them in Ireland.
Also, it would be ilogical to pay capital gains tax in Ireland, if there is not such a tax in Croatia (after 3 years!).
