I am in the process of buying a 12yr old villa built inland of Novigrad. On the face of it seems in very good condition but I would like to get it checked out. Is the survey system the same as in the UK - is it common practice to have a survey in Croatia and is this arranged through the agent or the solicitor? Also does anyone know of any development proposals/ issues which would affect a purchase slightly inland of Novigrad (apart from the new trunk road)?

It is not particularly common. We usually only arrange them for older properties or ones with some doubt about them, but we can do them for anything. Where have you found somewhere?
