Buying in Cavtat

I'm looking to buy in Cavtat.Any advice

Hi Con,

I'm just back from Croatia, having based myself in Cavtat, and travelled around Dalmatia quite a bit.


Advice.....Beautiful Town, property quite pricey, I found it a little 'sedate', in that it is great for a weekend stay, but would find it difficult to have enough to do for a week or longer. I guess it depends what you are looking for.

Also, quite importantly, is directly under flight path into Dubrovnik area, and is very noticable, and with the predicted boom in tourism in the area, would mean far more air traffic, and I think this will become quite a problem.

Have spent a lot of time in Cavtat this past year; beautiful but for retired people or a couple in love who are self-sufficient. Not recommended for a single girl/lady - will be bored stiff!

hehe I also have been to Cavtat. Nice place! Also close to Dubrvonik and the airport.
