We have recently bought land, where we had changed sterling into euros some time ago. We negotiated in euros and the completion was done at the mid rate of the day, ie Euros vs kunas.
So now buying again, i have funds in sterling. Do i i change into euros as i'm, negotiating in euros or Do i just convert from stirling straight into kunas and re negotiate in kunas?
This way i pay one conversion rate? although on the euro kuna exchange you only pay half the bid/offer spread!
One last thing, shall i transfer the money over by t.t. or can i just pay in a euro cheque from a london bank and if so, how long should it normally take to clear in my croatian bank account?
many thks sorry a bit long winded, hvala
