I was looking into visiting Croatia, but found that the only time I could do so in the near future would be from March 12-20. I wanted to know whether it would be warm enough to visit the coast and enjoy it-maybe the islands too-and where I should visit during this time of year. Any info would be helpful. My email is smoorerogers@yahoo.com----or you can just post an answer.
Thank you,

The March temperature is likely to be a few degrees higher than the UK, if that's warm enough for you.

My first ever trip to Croatia was the end of March 2001. It was beautifully bright and warm. But the sea was FREEZING at that time of year!

I've been Croat last March 23-26. At that time it's warm enough to travel, but I am not sure for every March. Travellers weren't crowded even in Dubrovnik. I remember beautiful and tranquil small towns sparsely located along the Adrian coast... I didn't take a ferry, but the sea wasn't frozen(near Dubrovnik~Split).

March is fine, if you do not mind a short cold spell. The sea is too cold for swimming.
