Would anybody know the quickest way to transfer money from Ireland to Croatia? My bank has to use an intermediary bank, so they say it will take about 2 weeks, but the vendor wants the deposit by wednesday. I suggested to the agent that I post a bank draft to the public notary's bank in Croatia, so they can lodge it straight away, but they don't understand what I mean by bank draft. Does anyone know what bank draft is in Croatian? Please help!

Your problem with sending money to Croatia can actually be solved in two days time, not two weeks. I don't know which bank you're using, but our Irish clients say it takes two days. If you need further assistance, please call +385 21 547 004.

Thanks for that Vlatka. My money is in the TSB bank, and when they said it would take 2 weeks, I just assumed all the other banks would be the same. I just rang AIB bank though and it's much faster with them. Thanks again
