Has anyone researched/(experienced) the benefits or otherwise of obtaining residency? I am awaiting Ministry approval on a house purchase and looking at the next steps  thanks |

Good question. Also what does anybody know about paying utilities whilst being out of the country?

Do you mean utilities on a holiday/unoccupied home? My bank in Croatia (Erste) set up automatic payments (like Direct debit) for me. As long as I have the money in my Croatian account, they pay on my behalf

Interesting topic. I want to see what information come on this subject. Residency. I am going for permanent stay, but pretty much exhausted by the efforts to get temporary stay. Which I've got now. You cannot get too much information on this.

Has anyone successfully obtained residency status in Croatia? Is it difficult? Are there benefits?
