I am looking to buy a property on either Hvar or Brac - does anyone know any trustworthy and friendly english speaking estate agents? I am going out in early January - does anyone know any good places to stay as well?!

You could also try www.thesunincroatia.com/. They have an office in Brac and an office in the UK, which is run by someone I used to work for, who's very trustworthy. |

I used www.dreamcroatia.com to buy my apartment on Brac. My friend has also just bought an old place on Hvar through them. They were good because they had offices in Split and the UK which helped with all the stuff with lawyers and surveyors...and they weren't pushy! Happy house hunting!  |

Jimmy, would you be interested in buying a completely renovated place, by Western standards, or a run-down object which you'd then renovate according to your own liking/ability? If the first applies, what's the top EUR amount you'd cash out per sqm?
