I am struggling to buy non slip pool tiles in Istria and wondered what the implications are of buying in Italy and taking them into Croatia? Do I pay import tax?

Hi Nicola, there's an excellent tile shop in one of the villages around Medulin, cant find thier numbera t mom. They mostly stock Italian tiles and may be able to get non slip tiles in for you. If you dont find them, let us know and we'll look for the number or pop in when we go to Pula in a couple of months.

Thanks Elsandee! Is it owned by an Italian lady? I think I have met her. Non slip seems to be the issue - the Croatian definition of non slip seem to differ to mine (maybe their feet have more tread on!) All I can get are the usual terrace tiles which are lethal when wet. I'll give her a go though Thanks again
