Today's edition of the Zagreb daily newspaper has an article on the property situation in the capital.
Small apartments of about 60 sq. metres, which are in the greatest demand, cost a minimum of €70,000 in the suburbs of Sesvete, Pescenica, Spansko and Dugava. In more central locations, prices rise to a minimum of €90,000.
Apartments in more central locations, such as in Maksimir and Medvescak, cost from €2,000 per sq. m., up to €3,500.
There is strong demand for newly built apartments, of which there is a shortage. Prices of such apartments start from €1,500 per sq. m., depending on the location.
