I was almost certain it was impossible for a non-national to obtain a mortgage, chirst even the deputy head of the HNB told me it was impossible, maybe I should've spoken with his boss, ;D Or maybe if I'd a Croatian wife it'd be easier.....

I have a mortgage in my name, so it is not impossible, I do have a Croatian wife, but the paperwork is in my name.
