SNG, from familial experience they are good in certain areas and relatively reliable, plus they have good links with local property agents as well as getting their own. I'd have doubts over Montenegro right now and would advise to wait until into the Summer to check out the market there, or at least until after the referendum in May, then it could boom or bust (boom being a word to excite and worry about!).

Eric, I know it's none of anyone's business, but can you elaborate? For no other reason than it'll give everyone an example of what was wrong and while there's no need for specifics, it'll at least help people to make good decisions. And you never know, but stop the company from making mistakes in the future.

Hi all,
I've had a dubious experience with them too I'm afriad.
It was last summer and we were interested in an off plan development of 16 apartments on Ciovo.
The apartment we liked looked good on the plan and we put a verbal reservation on it, and in the meantime asked the company to confirm that:-
1. all the paperwork - permissions to build etc was in place, + 2. what the legal position was if the builder went bust before completion.
Much to our suprise the permissions were not in place so the builder had not/ could not start, and if it all fell through our 40% first payment would have just entitled us to a 1/16th share of a hole in the ground.
So we backed out and went up the coast to Vodice and bought a new apartment through Vlad Komeda who has been brilliant, and I hope he gets lots of customers when easyjet and wizzair start in the summer.
I should say they were all very nice people and did their best I believe - it was a learning experience all round!

Yes, things got so bad in their Split Office with some major developments falling through that most of the directors and staff have left! Check their website for Split region properties, only a handful now. I believe some developers will not do business with them, and reputation is damaged.

I've bought through DPC, and in fairness have found them generally very good. Met them nearly 2 years ago I guess at this stage. The 'Split' business you refer to is from what I know (which is limited) is from when they bought out Leacy Nekterine in Split, and Leacy had a few 'suspect' properties on their books, that DPC had to sort out. One of the perils of taking over a new business I guess. DPC were Dubrovnik/Peljesac area only before that. I'd imagine the directors you refer to, would be ex-Leacy directors, although I'm only presuming that, and the ex-Leacy properties that were on their books. That might explain why alot of the Split properties have been removed, if that's the case, it's better they have a few proper and correct developments than hundreds of suspect ones.

Beware nikh, you'll get an email DIRECT to your personal email address from the triple one, I know I did when I mentioned in a previous thread how difficult the whole process looked in their self-promo on Irish tv, plus that it all looked dodgy when they brought a buyer to a property with numerous owners. There was then and is now nothing bad in relation to them merely a comment on how it appeared to others.
Good look with your business in the country, though you should put a post up about what they did and what happened.

Timing is everything , but were all big boys and can ask our own questions and get our own answers as I ve been deleted and rceived an email with a private warning from dream property and also received a warning from Anna, anyone that wants to ask me a question feel free to pm me. seems you can say what you like about Broker but>>>>>!!!!By thw way who is the triple one?

Why was your post deleted? I was away working a few days and didn't see what you followed up with? Triple one is what a guy who bought through Leacy calls the head honcho (Kieran) from Dream, and I'm surprised you weren't sent a defensive email to your personal account.
What happened with them? If you wish to pm me it'd be very interesting to know, it seems quite a few of the "Irish" agencies, a certain starsign too, were stung by not knowing their on the ground facts too well, or maybe they did and that's the problem.

ha ha ha !apparently I was threatening !!! and not specific enough ??!! I My finger slipped on the keyboard and I added n extra k to the reference to Kieran, genuine mistake, but now your making me laugh. Dont blame the starsigns and its not what you are thinking which I assume is the development known lovingly as One.. more than likely they are awaiting my next set of comments that is of course unless im deleted again!!!!Also it was more like a warning and oddly put I amy add.Im in Cro and Uk back and forth at moment so only jumping in and out to see whats happening . Only a fan of fair play ;D But what goes around comes around and the ones who are so ready to make a quick sale for the sake of it, are the ones who come crashing down. I didn't really appreciate the "private" email as it was very evasive and actually didn't take on board the original post, which was that the editing of the show made the country look very dodgy and didn't paint the agent in the best of light.
But from what has been said more than just on here, is just drawing more flak on them.
Yeah, Trogir, lots of fun. I personally don't like th place but since one of my colleagues was born and bred there I have to endure the odd lunch and reasons why it's so lovely, I find the locals unfriendly, the water unclean and the traffic infuriating.

Me too , I would prefer readers to take what I say in the vain its meant and protect themselves, they dont have to listen to me but should ask their own questions. All around are coming to the end they deserve, but only if the buyer bewares and takes control. Its not surprising he sends pms he might look bad !!!! I dont care if he wants to pm me , even though he seems to think Im someone Im not, I just dont entertain the man. Youre right about that show I laughed so hard, would you buy off someone that didnt check the paperwork before they went on such a high profile show???Shot in foot or what? And on other side of my face I swore because you are right it showed Cro in a bad light , round of applause to Kieran kelleher and his team. Trogir I enjoy in short bursts and then I escape back to the piece and beauty of my hideaways on Brac and Hvar
