Several arrests of clerks and lawyers have been made at the Zagreb land registry office suspected of accepting bribes to speed up the process. This will probably slow the process down a bit for some people. www.javno.com/en/croatia/clanak.php?id=105895

This is probably good news. Carol may have experience of this? Let's hope this desire to root out corruption moves up the food chain......

Gavin it's mainly a Zagreb affair, with very little impact at the Justice Ministry, but if the police can continue as they've started it shows that the pushing from Brussels is being matched by honest and concerted effort from within.

yeah its good news. but the nipple on the other breast is Split!!! thats another centre of realestate mega corruption in croatia.
