Good post and fair! Not everybody will hate the place as much as I do, but despite my views being tainted by views are based on experience and I got fed up of people basically spouting propaganda because they hate people to hear anything bad about Croatia, one year ago this forum was full of people, who were either of Croatian heritage or wanted to buy up cheap Croatian property and rent it out to foreigners and of course they all had a vested interest in . People are still lying about basic things that anybody will see is wrong whenever they come here, prices for example. Still waiting for your list of expensive restaurants in Zadar. I think you have a big mouth.

I bet he/she won't argue that way, he/she (help) seems to be focused at you demanting everything you say no matter right or wrong. This place will just become more peaceful and that's all, wait and see!

I would not say that Croatia was the largest Empire but I would say we have the most interesting one.
Croatian history is fascinating. Our museums are wonderful. I particulary like the museums that feature jewlery and coins.
I love all the churches. I also love all the graveyards.... very peacful and beautiful. Sibenik has a wonderful graveyard I think it is one of the prettiest. I also like the one in Zagreb. It does sound strange but I never pass up a grave yard or cemetarie, no matter how small or large. I will always take a look.
Same with museum, gardens, zoo, I will go no matter how large or small it is. I find these things to be interesting, peacful, relaxing.

The graveyard in the sky...Yep. It's something. Take an oxygen mask with you on a hot day. Sibenik museum......what. It's never open. Spent too much time in graveyards though since I've been here. Seen some great people buried. Funerals that would blow you mind...........You get sucked in to a community.......So you get in to it without even trying. It's quite extraordinary.......

EMIZ, wherever your next chosen residence happens to be..... I wish you happiness. Have you ever seen a movie "Annie Hall"? In the opening scene Woody Allen says: "Life is full of pain, misery and suffering...and it is over much too quickly." Having high standards in life and expecting the same in others is fine, but one has to learn to live with the reality too and accept that world does not revolve around you. Learn to relax a little bit more, sometimes just go with the flow and try to have as much fun in life as possible. I understand your frustrations, as I used to be like you too, but have since realised that being highly strung and arrogant is not the way to get what you want in life. You just end up isolating yourself. Have fun and remeber "...it is over much too quickly".

Bye Emiz, i am sure some other country will be happy to have yo I personally would like if you are going to Serbia ;D The thing that makes me laugh more than anything is how Croatia looks down at other nations i.e. Serbia, Romania, yet expects the western countries to see them as equals. Which one is it, is everybody the same of is everybody different?

Until then no.... we are not on the same line as romania, serbia, bulgaria.

ToAliasOfEmiz, you're wrong. i used to come here some few months ago, post a little, even disagreed with EMIZ - although i must admit that after reading some threads from some people i'm not sure any more who EMIZ is, who david r is, and what exaclty is going on here, but then again, it's not that important.
the forum is about exchanging opinions, at least the way i see it. people logging on with different names (like ToAliasOfEmiz obviously just did) don't do it any good.
