some of the threads seem occupied by EMIZ and that ghostwriter.
i might not agree with EMIZ on many topics, esp with his opininion about how nationalistic this country is (i live here and i really haven't noticed that there is so much of it, although individuals do express such attitudes, but EMIZ believes the majority of croats do which is absolutely not true), but i must say (and i can imagine the response i'll get) that most of his post make some sense and he is (or at least sounds that way) educated enough to back up his opininions with some arguments, whereas it's a real pain reading posts by the ghost. she just follows EMIZ and attacks, calls names, has no "debating culture"... her opininions are "general", but when it comes to backing it up, she resorts to insulting and shows her ignorance.
i know, nobody asked for my opinion, but after spending a few hours last night reading all these threads i just couldn't keep it for myself.

sorry EMIZ, i probably won't agree much your biggest interest are politics and business, neither interests me much. i work in health sector, my priorities are quite different. i dislike generalisations, you seem to like them. i tend to see the good side (and have only days when i get frustrated with everything that doesn't work here), whereas getting frustrated seems to be your life orientation but it's interesting to read your posts, they seem intelligent enough, and the fact is there always has to be a different opinion in order to have a discussion.

Ghost...ask yourself why your posts saying that noddy and I are the same person keep being deleted, the admin can see that we are not even in the same country.
Look back on the board and Noddy and I had a few disagreements, you idiot!

... the admin can see that we are not even in the same country. aren't we? well, i do admit it's really confusing and there are many inconsistencies.... but then again, it's the internet.... i don't understand why so many people are trying to reveal EMIZ' identity and are concentrating on the personal things. it's completely irrelevant if he's living here or there, doing this or that.... the fact is that many of his comments are true (although often presented in a non-likable way). and the internet gives everyone an opportunity to play with their identity. the way many here are reacting is like a mother with her child - she can criticize her child, some mothers even think they can hit them, but when another person does any of that she'll eagerly (and sometimes not objectively) defend the child. i believe that's the very point of it.

He has accused Star, Gav, me and a few others of all being the same person... he has also declared that none of us live in Croatia. He has also mentioned the times that we have posted on here saying that if we posted in the early mornings that we are in another country.... which is quite amazing when you look at the thread "why is it that" in Debate and disscussion. You and emiz both posted at 2:30 am and 3:00am in the morning... that is calling the kettle black. And ANYONE can post under several different IP's and the webmaster would have no CLUE!!!! So sorry about your theory emiz that the webmaster is deleting things because she knows that the 2 people are different.... she has no clue as you have no clue if I am posting under several names with different IP's or if you are posting under different IP's. That is the nature of the beast(internet) And Noddy if you happen to be not emiz..... YOU are about the ONLY one that agree's with EMIZ!!! He has offended many poster's on this board and most people do not respect him, some don't even read his posts anymore and just skip any post he has written. The only reason I keep posting back is he keeps addressing me in his posts. Even when others have had the same feelings or opinions as me on subjects he will agressively pursue my post. Honestly it does make it unpleasant when someone keeps writing attacks on all your posts but if that is how she gets her thrills..... then so be it. I in fact enjoy when the postmaster erases the posts because then he stops pestering me for a bit. You will see in a few days he will be back to his old tricks and there will be some posts calling me a homewife or stupid and how I live in USA...... the usual! and Noddy if you are not emiz... So sorry I just found it strange that you are the only one agreeing with him. You are entitled to your opinion and no offence... best of luck to you GhostWriter

Our economy is better than theirs, are government is not as corrupt as theirs.... Romanians come to our sea because the black sea beaches are not as nice...

Can you show me some stats to back that up? I am certain that most people in Bulgaria live better life’s than most people in Croatia. Bulgaria is a very cheap country and unemployment is much lower than Croatia’s
As for corruption, don't make me laugh, Croatia is as bad as anywhere in Europe.

Can you show me some stats to back that up? I am certain that most people in Bulgaria live better life’s than most people in Croatia. Bulgaria is a very cheap country and unemployment is much lower than Croatia’s As for corruption, don't make me laugh, Croatia is as bad as anywhere in Europe. You are very lazy.... you want answers but you want others to look them up.... Again you are wrong.... here are the facts jack! Croatia GDP purchasing power parity - $8,300 Serbia GDP per capita purchasing power parity - $2,250 Bulgaria GDP percapita purchasing power parity - $6,200 Romania GDP per capita purchasing power parity-$6,800 Next time if you don't know something you look it up... You can find this on any website... one of them is Aneki. Romania has far worse corruption than Croatia. I have already put stats up for that and if you don't remember than to bad... I am not posting that again. In most SEE countries inflation remains low or disinflation process will continue except for two economies: Bulgaria and Serbia. In case of Bulgaria, the rapid economic growth has a negative impact on inflation through increasing demand, while, in Serbia the introduction of VAT - at a 18% rate - has a one-off negative impact on price increases. In the last several years Romania had the highest inflation rate in the region but in 2005 Serbia will inherit this ‘title’. Unemployment is a key issue in Southeast European countries, the official unemployment rate exceeds 20% on average. one can observe the highest unemployment rate in Bosnia-Herzegovina, in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and in Serbia and Montenegro, unemployment rates are over 30% in these economies. According to estimations, the real unemployment rate is significantly lower in these economies, it can be around 20%, however, this rate is still really high.

Ghost unsurprisingly you are once again missing the point, a countries gdp has little meaning on the quality of life one would have in that country.
Corruption league tables, let’s start there, corruption by its very nature is secretive I therefore take those league tables about as seriously as I take your economic predictions.
Unemployment in Bulgaria is much lower than Croatia.
Prices in Croatia are significantly higher than prices in Bulgaria, thus if a Bulgarian had $500 to spend and a Croat had $700 to spend the Bulgarian would be able to buy more.
The Kuna is so insanely overvalued, I would estimate by around 35% that the gdp is not accurate. Salaries in Croatia are getting lower, I have noticed that most jobs advertised in Zagreb at the moment are for between 3000 and 4000 kunas and many are below 3000 kunas, any jobs above 5000 kunas are rare.
Therefore your arrogance is misplaced. Croatia is definitely in a better position than Serbia and Romania, although I would be happy as a Romanian today knowing that eu membership beckons. However Bulgaria in my opinion is in a stronger position than Croatia.

No.... I am not missing the point! I have answered all your questions.... Bulgaria is more expensive than Croatia do to its rapid growth causing inflation. The problem here is you don't agree with the STATS but the problem is...... YOU DON'T HAVE STATS TO PROVE YOUR POINT You are basically making up your own figures and trying to sell them to everyone. You are basically telling everyone YOU know more than the people that preform & collect the statistical information for governments & businesses......hmmm I am sorry but I think I believe these reputable institutions for their information.... not your limited observations and unformulated opinions!
