The Emizzz....ZZZ's, whoever they are...... , thes rogue posters, they should shut the f*ck up. Croatia for a holiday destination? Krasno. Superb. Probably the best in the entire world. Europe especially. Living here full time, which I do, an Englishman....Well, it's a learning curve. My Croatian wife...wishes she wasn't here. But....what can you do eh.......I wish she wasn't here too......But who would attempt to cook for me? She just wont go away...Never would in England!.......Croatia for a holiday...YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!! I guarantee it. (All commissions please send to.....) Anyone who says negative to this question....Their brains are not working.....End of story.......If you live in the 'real world'; and fancy a change....come to Croatia. It was 35c yesterday in the shade...55c in the sun....Can you handle it? You can or die....So don't worry about it.........

Al you don’t strike me as a very well traveled person and wherever you land the first question is, do you have egg and chips and are you showing eastenders on the big screen tonight.
You basically said the same thing as me, visit it but don’t live there.
What makes Croatia the best holiday destination in Europe??? Best beaches?? No chance, Turkey, Greece, even Albanian has better beaches, good service?? Ha ha, food? Not a patch on Italy, Beautiful buildings, monuments??? Yeah right.
So what makes it the best holiday destination in Europe? It’s worth a visit I agree, but the best, no chance.

Having lived in Croatia and elsewhere, I can agree that there are countries where earning for food and housing is easier than in Croatia. But, unless living is really very hard, lot of money on the bank account, fancy food and clothes are certainly not what makes happy living for the most of people. Like everywhere else, there are good and less good people in Croatia. The struggles we have gone through have probably made us more disappointed and bitter than usual Europeans. Still, we can be happy that we survived (a real wonder concerning the powerful protectors our aggressors have had!) and now we have a good chance to build a better country for our kids. EMIZ, if unhappy in Croatia, please move on elsewhere and look for your own peaceful place on the earth (I wish you find it very soon - usually happy people easier take a moment to understand the others), otherwise look for a psychiatrist. Assuming you are an Englishman, I can only say that there are certainly not only many people, but numerous nations around this planet who would have many reasons to post bad words about UK, but it can not change the unjustice done and doing it can not bring to normal persons any feeling of happiness

Emixyz,
You are a masochist. You can't even enjoy a beer in this country. You don't like food. You always are badly serviced. You have no friends in Croatia.
You can't live like that for ever.
Prsut, sir, wine and beer offered to anyone from July 24th to Aug17th who comes to see us. Hospitality in Croatia is authentic.
Ivo, Sali Dugi Otok.

Hospitality in Croatia is is invisible, the service in Croatia is the worst in Europe, the only place I have had worst service is in deepest Africa.

Both me and my Slovenian husband agree that Croatian cost is definitely the most beautiful cost there is, and believe me, we've seen a lot. Of course, customer relationship can improve and we should offer more variety and entertainment opportunities, but God definitely did one of the most beautiful creations at this part of the world. We brought many of our friends and business partners here and all of them were truly impressed.

Living in or visiting Croatia - doesn't matter which - as with all things in life, you only get out what you put in.

I wish some of the people who praised life in Croatia would actually come and live here.
Then your comments will change, especially if you live here and work here.
Coming here for holidays or to relax for three weeks, does not count.

TO EMIZ: I am a Croat liiving here in Croatia and I don't know anyone claiming that our life is the most comfortable one. We have many difficulties but still we love our country and have not lost a capability to respect that which is good here. And we are not "a nation of liars", what you called us! In a BBC humoristic serie a few days ago someone said that admitting you are wrong would have never made Britain Great. I guess it tells something more about you as well. We haven't not suffered so much for having to listen to the statements like yours. If you experienced illegal actions, go to the police and look for the justice. Otherwise, please, do a favour to us and yourself and move out of our country elsewhere and try to be happy there. Thank you very much.

Go to the police?? Why? so they can ask for bribes too? I apologise for my statement a nation of liars, that is ott, however as far as business goes that statement stands.
You can talk about the British empire, as much as you want, Brits do not deny the truth about their country, they will talk about the pro's and the cons and will give their personal opinion.
Croats will just spout anything that makes Croatia look good...nationalism/communism, I'm not sure what, bug the agenda gets in the way of the truth, and what a lot of people forget is whilst everybody is saying how amazing it is, and even fooling themselves into believing that, nobody sees the need to improve things.
It is my belief that this attitude is 100% responsible for the current stagnation and arguable backward movement of Croatia in the last 18 months, things should be getting better, they're not.
