Today when I returned to my car after shopping in mercator...something that happens so often its part of normal life happened again...
Some a$$---parked so closely that I couldn't open my drivers door....I can understand why people key idiots like that...one time two people parked so closely my only way to get into my car was to climb through the boot....complete lack of respect for others. Is this a game? Or are people just so inconsiderate that they couldn’t care less? There was a free space on the other side of the car and plenty of spaces around, so there are no excuses.

and how did they get out of their car? anyway, i must admit that i'm one of the lot. i mean, not when there's free space around, no, definitely not then. but sometimes, when i spot a tiny little space and nothing else around for miles (almost) i do the same thing. sorry. i just figure, if i can get out of my car somehow, they'll get into theirs too.

I try to park as far from everyone as I can. I don't want my car scratched. almost impossible to do.
speaking of cars.... has anyone heard about the new LR3 and if it is any good. Also its fuel consuming?

...Italy's the worse, but it happens a lot everywhere, personally I just drive an old car anyway! If someones so bothered about a scratch on their motor then I suggest they've got to much time on their hands, like those who are always posting on here (he he ha ha)

Why not walk, or ride a bicycle? Traffic is killing Split, the only place in the world where you park on the pavement and walk in the road. Sluèaj, oh young men of Split, your automobile is not actually an extension of your thingy, whatever the 18 year old girls are telling you. What about electic motorcycles, very slow but very clean and very cheap for the Renaissance Man?

If you have family it is a little hard to get everyone on the back of a bike ;D
We mostly walk to where we need to go but sometimes things are just to far or not able to use bus/train.
It does bother me when people are not respectful to others property.....like scratching someones car or slamming there door into my door.
By the way.... i love having this time right now. I use to work like dog....now I have time for a while before going back to slavery of the money.

Nothing like observing the antics at a Neapolitan crossroad junction for testing your nervous system. Why they have traffic lights there is anybodies guess.
