thank the heavens that person going by the name of "the ghost" is stopping the insults, lies and namecalling. Croam, I'd expect better, you could contribute something strong and help eradicate the ones who want to drag back the discussions into the playground, or in all honesty, vrtice.
Vedran, no matter what you think of ghost, the person has some rights to post, so it's not fair that, no matter what alias they post under, that they shouldn't be allowed to post sensibly and contribute. I think it's noble of you to try put an end to their rants, but so long as they keep it decent without bad stuff, it's allowed, I guess.
Good thread Midge, at least it will stop personal attacks, well, at least from one corner

anyways...at least half the posts on this site are worthless rants. why can't i rant sometime. i already posted, after my trip to CRO, more worthwhile info than most will in their whole VCF(Visit Croatia Forum) careers.

I know, a little rant is good for the heart, but you started straight off by attacking, then you settled in and posted some stuff that made me think, I'm sure others too. You've a good inside-outside view and at least you can tell off the retarded ultra-nationalists who seem to think that baying for the blood of foreigners and serbs is normal, while they cheer each new goal scored by Dado Prso (ironically of all for an ultra anti-catholic football club). Or tackle those who decide to use the forum to compensate for the lack of something in their lives by demeaning others. Anyway, so how was Tara Reid, I never knew who she was until one of my colleagues told me! And I thought I knew movies!

I come back to see that you have not stopped. Looks like the only one that has some class is Ghost. Irac, do you have a problem that you can't control what you post. You keep antagonizing the situtation. Why do you persist in pulling others into your little play yard fights. Why can you not stop mentioning other posters in the negative or other posters writing styles. You continue subtle instigating. You claim to be a man of integrity and honor. You know what, please show us because right now you are stooping again to school yard antics.

This entire thread started well - looked very promising, in fact. However, it has now degenerated beyond belief!

IRAC2: ummm Tara Reid was a typical celebrity. I hit it off with her brother...he's a producer(aspiring) got drunk with him. He liked that i spoke croatian and wanted to get some croatian girls...never happened. He really liked the tour guide from Dubrovnik Tourist bureau who took Tommy and Tara through the Old Walls. Then he made some joke about Buckeyes... (he went to Ohio State University and Ohio is the Buckeye state...a nut... hence the joke) she didn't get the joke and quickly left...she probably thought it was the name of some weird sex act. Anyways, Tara was hanging out with Petar Graso in Dubrovnik, and even compared to Graso's hot girlfriend, Thompson's former wife, i left with the hottest and coolest girl that night. Croatian american girl like myself. So all is well that ends well.
wish i had better stories. I'll tell you how the show turned out when it airs on TV here in a few weeks.

Although it bitters me to say...Davidr did say he was going to meet this ghost thingy in Zadar....and Gavin seems to not have the foggiest to who Davidr is!
We all know Davidr is EMIZ in one form or another....but Ghost is just a bad! You all make me sick acting like children....so angry with what was a nice forum turning into a pile of horse dung.

David, you didn't get to Zadar today? You missed nothing! Unless ghost is an actual ghost and types by no hands, rather than just the one free one, they weren't there. We'd been in Karin a 8am, came back into Zadar and met with an old colleague from home and went for coffee, stayed over half an hour and nobody matching ghosts self description turned up, though just a short time ago I saw the message with an address, which, if I was right, is right opposite the cathedral's door. If Bill Murray were there he'd have had fun, maybe even Dan Aykroyd too, but sadly folks "the ghost" didn't appear. But it was a nice coffee (kept the receipt as proof) and the weather more than made up for the disappointment in finding out the "awful" things we do here ;D
David, on a proper matter, I'll be up around the 14th or so, I'll PM you on it and another matter too!
Enjoy drinkies, and for god's sake all turn up, not like this morning! :-)

I didn't feel like a 3 hour drive when I know she lives in Calafornia.
It's much closer for you, and I'm glad you went, although be prepared to be called a liar.
Hmm 14th..not sure if I will still be in Zagreb then, I am due to go to kosovo next week, but as it's my wife's birthday in the 16th I am trying to delay my trip.
Hopefully I can show an Irish how to really drink ;D
