I actually have a video recording on my desktop of myself last night saying I'm sorry I couldn't be here to collect my award and I'd like to thank my friends and family.
Thankfully I passed out on the couch before I uploaded it ;D
Cheers for the competition boys... hopefully a few more contenders next season...
The downside is there will be no boro, the up side is... there will be no Newcastle
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yes, well done capio. By the way how many games are actually played in the league in a season? I know everyone plays everyone at home and away, just my maths has gone a little off today, something to do with red wine me thinks.

I know everyone plays everyone at home and away, just my maths has gone a little off today, something to do with red wine me thinks. yes, well done Caps - if only Boro had done half as well, eh? re games; each team plays 38 games. 20 teams x 38 = ........760 (thinking 2 x 38 is 4 19s on the dartboard !) There should be another way, using 'series' which i learned once in maths............but d**ned if i know how to do it that way today. I'm kind of sorry (yeah, even as a Sunderland fan) about the relegations. But that is life, and death, and renewal. I am no fan of Birmingham, but glad to see Wolves and Burnley come up. I do have a soft spot for Sheffield ~Utd too - they would never have gone down if it had not been W Ham doing the dirties 2 seasons ago. If boro or SAFC or Blackburn had played such tricks they would have been docked 10 points. I'll try to join the competition next season, if i may. kesterj

I've got my kids hooked on french cricket, and the neighbours kids on Krk seem pretty interested to give it a go to. Soon I'll have them making a pitch down in the fields I made the bat from the bbq fire wood pile ;D and i have a wooden ball wrapped in multiple layers of gaffer tape Australia seem to have lost their way a bit with cricket at the moment so maybe it's time for another English ashes victory.

it's time for another English ashes victory. The words in this phrase are mutually exclusive ... and therefore impossible.

Rib we beat a much better Aussie team than this last time they toured England. They're not the same team without the legend that is Shane Warne and McGrath.
I still think Australia will have too much in the batting department, as I think this is a pretty poor England side. I'm going to the Headingley test in Australia and really looking forward to seeing Mitchell Johnson. He's a hell of a player.
