I am really very interested in visiting Croatia, but the problem is that my husband requires an extra leg room seat on the flight, so far I have not been able to find a travel company that will let me book this facility in advance - have you any suggestions please as to how I overcome this problem?

I, too, need extra legroom seats and recently complained to Lufthansa that their frequent flyer programme did not have this as an option in preferences. I don't give a stuff about a window seat, or vegan food, but I very definitely, like many tall people, need the extra legroom seat. There is nothing more offensive when flying, to find that the seat I needed has been given to someone who doesnt, while I am painfully wedged into the back of the seat in front! I got the usual pathetic suggestion of an aisle seat, which insults the intelligence of anyone, since putting one's legs in the aisle gets a trolley in the kneecaps. Whilst there is a need to ensure that occupants of the extra legroom seats are able bodied, there is no reason why a presumption cannot be made and if the passenger is found on arrival to be unsuitable, for a reallocation to be made at that time. Lufthansa's FF programme is a sham in its pretence at looking after regular customers. Unfortunately, it is a problem with the industry.

it seems to be a common problem, my partner is six foot 8 and just dosent fit into the seats, usually if we arrive early for check-in we do get an emergency exit seat(which you can have only if you are able bodied and prepared to assist in an emergency)It does seem ludicrous in this day and age that nothing can be done to assist people who require legroom, its cramped enough for average height people so think what it must be like for the taller passenger!!
