Just thought that this needs a mention as it starts tonight Croatia v Korea is the first match. Im not a huge fan, but did go to a game 2 years ago and it was enjoyable. So i guess i will be watching it and cheering on Croatia, They have built a few new stadiums for the event and they look impressive especially the stadium in Porec and Zagreb. c`mon Croatia....

As a matter of interest there was an article in the Observer a few weeks ago which said that the U.K is putting together a handball team for the 2012 Olympics. They are currently playing in a Danish league (2nd Division I think) for some reason and not doing too well. so I wouldn't expect too many medals.

did you watch it last night. exciting finish and Croatia scraped a win
I didnt know there was a div 2 in Denmark, according to my wife the danes are good at handball and its a good and difficult league to be in, so who knows we might get a medal in 2012, not likely.....
