Anyone looking for money ?
In Italy the Superenalotto has not seen a winner since January 2009 and thus the jackpot has risen to a staggering 138 million euro !
Next drawing is 17 August.
I normally don't play any Lotto or Lottery, but for 138 million euro even I will make an exception.

I'm always looking for money, although without much success. I really feel like a mobile cash machine.
So, to gamble away my fortune, where can I pay for that lotto? Do I need to make a trip to Italy to do so, or can I do it localy? You can see how often I do the Lotto. Must be why I never win anything.

Normally I don't play either, simply because if everybody wins I will be the only one who loses, so makes no sense to play.
But for 138 million euro I am willing to change my position, just for this time. I will get the tickets in Italy, but it seems you can also go online and buy tickets there. I have never done it, have no experience with it, but apparently it is possible.

I can't believe the figure of €138.000.000 EUROS! I had to go on line and check!! That is incredible, what the hell would you do with it? 1) Maybe help out the Cro Govt pay off some of its borrowings? 2) Set up a free visa advisory centre for foreigners? 3) Buy Croatia? Not saying I wouldn't mind a small piece of it though. ;D

I did some thinking over the last few days and I have it figured out. I now know what I will do with the 138 million euro !
Put it on a bank account, get 5 % interest and live happily ever after, s.c.r.e.w. the crisis !

Not a bad plan , on the face of it , Mambo !
Alas , as is usually the case , the Devil lurks in the Detail : e.g. - we don't know of any respectable bank which will give you 5% on Euros , more likely 2% to 2,5% is probably the most attractive possibility , IF you get lucky ; - if you then leave HR to go settle anywhere in the EU , the Directive tax will apply ( currently 20% , going up to 35% as from 2011 !!! Horrific!!! ) - most other "civilised" countries also have interest-reporting and taxation on interest and dividends in place ; - how many banks will you entrust your money to , bearing in mind how little compensation is guaranteed in case of any of them losing your monies ( which they all seem to be extremely good at , of lately ) - and that , so far this year , 77 ( seventy-seven ) banks have failed in the U.S. alone , Colonial which folded last week is said to have been 6th largest in the U.S. ? - with all the paperwork , tax-planning , assuring that the banks haven't involved you in any of their Ponzi schemes and other freshly-assorted headaches , what'll your new life be like ? And so on , and so on...
Cheers !

Too much money for me, I am not going to buy a ticket, one million euros is more than enough for me.
