anyone know where to find these auctions? www.croatiantimes.com/news/Business/2010-04-20/10425/Property_seizures_increased_last_yearSeems properties seized in Croatia in 2009 where about 2,944, statistics from the Croatian Chamber of Economy show. Never new this but seems they can seize your home if you don't pay your utility bills. Bet the utility companies have jumped on that band wagon with the banks. Can I go seize HEP head office since they billed me for 800 Kuna to much last year, and won't pay it back but rather offer a line of credit?

Hi Joe, not sure if you can find these 810, but www.croatiapropertyauctions.com seems to be the pioneer for auctioning properties here. They have held a couple already, but no idea how they went - they are based in Zageb I think. Cheers Paul

Paul.. sure like the Hotel Vila GariƦ shown on that site. Once I win the Lotto (guess I'll have to play it first), then that will be mine.

This is not a good thing to read when you are thousands of kilometers away and people there dont like to communicate.......and who knows if your property is next and you will never know it!!!
I have come to where I wish that I had never seen the d**n place

auctions online can be found here: e-oglasna.pravosudje.hr/eoglasna/opcinski_sudovifirst I apologize for my terrible english , those auctions are by "municipal courts" if I translated correctly, but lot of courts are not putting auctions online, so you have to come in person to see what's auctioned. also pay attention to ownership percentage auctioned, cause sometimes only 1/2 or less of property is for sale.. etc.
