Why would anyone buy a dormant company ? Unless it was free , there is NO point.
The initial capital is ALWAYS 20,000 Kuna so that would have to be the price BUT It would then cost more money to change the name of the owners and directors
It would then cost more money to change the address o fthe company.
It would then cost more money to change the usages of the comapany..
So unless its free, i cant see the point. A new company can be formed in 3 days and a maximum of 10 days.

The reason why someone would want to buy a d.o.o. with losses is quite simple. Losses can be off set if you have a fiscal structure. Basically what you do is buy a company with a nice loss, add it in your structure and then you can off set it against profits with other companies, where you normally have to pay profit tax.
Obviously they will buy the companies for low prices and not for a full price.

The costs for any change at the d.o.o. are +/- 2000-2500 Kn depending on if you need a translater. It doesn't matter if you change one single letter or have like 10 changes or usage.
By buying I meant take over the company for a small amount including domainname . The usage for the company is very divers (long list).
Just thought it would be easy for someone and it saves us our yearly costs. But if anyone want to start it themselves, be my guest.

When I did mine years back it cost 500 euro, mainly due to the fact that I had a lawyer do it all. Then, we had to put 20,000 Kuna as starting capital. Internet company name (xxxxx.hr) was free.
