Certainly a lot of anti-American sentiment on this board. One would almost think that some of you would wish he were still alive. 8:37 a.m. CDT, May 6, 2011 DUBAI (Reuters) - Al Qaeda confirmed the death of Osama bin Laden on Friday in an Internet message that vowed revenge on the United States and its allies, including Pakistan, according to a statement issued by the Islamist militant group I don't think its anti-American sentiment, but rather trying to find the truth. One real bad dude in history (Hitler) actually said that “if your going to tell a lie, tell a big one”. Sadly, certain governments and leaders told us some whoppers (I'm not talking about Burger King Hamburgers) such as the WMD. At that time most of the world just swallowed the theory as fact, but now we know better, or know the truth. I'm not saying Mr Bin didn't kicked the bucket with a bullet to the brain, but when they broke with the story, almost right away there was miss-information and wrong facts. Then they sold us the story they wouldn't show us any pictures because they didn’t believe in “showing us gory pictures”. Then there was the humanitarian kind hearted gesture to wash his body down and then in accordance to Muslim ritual he be buried at sea. Problem is, it's not really a ritual that Muslims are buried out at sea (never saw it happen when I lived in Indonesia, the largest Muslim population in the world). As there is no body, we will never know if he really was killed. We just have to believe people that don't have their facts straight, that go back on promises etc. So now it is either a fact or a "BIG LIE"! Only time will tell. All I can say is I won’t loose any sleep over this news, and in actual fact I wish SKY and CNN would go onto more pressing news stories. |

I would like Ivetron to point out the anti American sentiment here.
All I see is American distrust, and quite rightly so. How could you ever trust a nation so eager to start wars in places they have no business in being (apart from the oil business). America constantly lies through it's teeth to get what it wants.
Ivetron, do you think it was right and just for America to send trained assassins to kill a man suspected of crimes, before any kind of trial ? Not only that, but they claim it was a legal killing under the laws of war ?!
I didn't know America was conducting a war in Pakistan ?
Imagine if that had been Croatian soldiers sent to kill Milosevic in (for instance) Poland. The Croatian soldiers would be sent to court in the Hague, and no doubt the Croatian government would be condemned along with them for ordering the assassination.

1998 bombings in Kenya and Tanzania where 233 mostly innocent local civilians were killed
2000 bombing of the USS Cole, 17 sailors died
3,000+ innocent men, women and children died in New York City 9/11

So, gmh, do I think it is legal to kill the leader of an organization that has declared war on the US and its allies? Yes. Do I think it was right to kill this mass murderer of countless innocent civilians? Yes.

@ ivetron, while I understand where your coming from and yes you have a point, but both sides in the conflict have blood on their hands. Both had an agenda, one felt oppressed and the other had a need. You got to remember that Bin used to work for USA, or at least got backed by them, and then something happened. The Bin and Bush family where into oil together big time. Just because he was a Muslim isn't enough. I mean, in most religions we have fanatics. We're even got fanatics in the business of money, war, sports and a host of other professions.
Just so you know, my father is American, I have many good friends who are American. This is not a reflection of them or the people in gerneral, what I talk about is more about policy. Guns and bullets just don't mix well with winning friends.

ivetron, just imagine if the UK and US governments actually don't tell the people the truth? If you watch the 30 minute video below, you may start to look at things differently. Personally I find "Fundamentalist Christianity" a much wider threat to world peace than perceived threat that the mainstream media talk about "those evil muslims". There's a wealth of evidence on Youtube that will cause disquiet about 911. Particularly "Loose Change".
I've sat through hours of video evidence. I now think the unthinkable.
That 911 was an inside job. A false flag attack from within.
Given that, I don't believe a word from Barry Obama about OBL's death.

Gary, There is a wealth of SELECTED info that will disquiet 9/11. For all other people there is more than enough information on the net available to find enough proof of what happened on 9/11 The one mistake that many people make is to think that 9/11 was an inside job because of what happened afterwards. The only thing those people don't seem to understand is that GWB cleverly used 9/11 to make his agenda. You may want to look at: www.debunking911.com/This website will answer all your questions. Remember..........if you believe in a conspiracy it is you who has to come up with a conclusive scenario, which will explain all that happened on 9/11. Just throwing some thoughts in the air, without any facts, is not enough. You may want to close your eyes for some of te hard evidence, but that does not mean that your theory will be accepted. |

No way did an aircraft hit the pentagon.....no seats, no wreckage, no bodies, no suit cases etc.

Building 7 collapsed for no particular reason. A BBC journalist reported upon the collapse of the building 30 minutes before it actually happened. It was plainly in the background on video as she spoke...It's all there on Youtube.
Classic demolition, badly timed?
There is obviously something not right about what we have been fed....
Call me a conspiracy theorist if you wish, but if you open your minds you might see that the whole thing stinks to high heaven....

Yep Gary, Pentagon a real mystery as if it was a plane then the bad guy would have had to do some amazing flying to miss highway and other things to hit the spot he did. Video cameras didn't catch it.
We all know that the planes hit the towers as that’s pretty clear and on tape, and the flight that fell out of the sky is recorded as going down with phone calls and wreckage, but the pentagon is clothed in theories. By the way, is Elvis alive and who shot Kennedy? We may never know. One odd thing I recall (might not be fact but fiction) is the guy who owned the towers had just sold them to a new owner prior to 9/11.
You think any such activities happen in Croatia, I mean the day Croatia joins the EU will I find myself on the Slovenian side of the border due to backroom land deals? Welcome to the EU folks, for that privledge Slovenia is permitted to annex the county of Zagreb. Hehe!

Or is it still being manufactured in some C*I*A laboratory I wonder. The best thing about it all is a video of Osama allegedly watching himself on TV. An old bearded man pictured from behind...it must be Osama if Americans say it is..if you think it is not your eyes must be deceiving you...in fact when it comes to these things we dont need our own eyes, brains etc...just listen to FOX.
