(I'd like to see him do that to Rooney at Old Trafford. )
The rules are differnet for Liverpool, man utd and chelski They have some of the dirtiest players around and they get away with it more than any other teams.

We should introduce tie rules because this is going down to the wire We have so far never had a draw at the end, but yes it is getting very close. Any Suggestions ? or happy to share Formula 1 style tie deciders perhaps? Kes is leading on that one because only he has a 9 with no 10s scored.

That could work, but slight problem, If its a tie with Rib and UTV they both have 2 x 8s and 3x 7s

Simples then: just go back and count the 6s. ;D And maybe it's time then to give me my 7 that I earned on 20.04.13, you forgot it.

Any other suggestions for how we should settle the competition in the event of a tie ? So far there is a choice of .
A. shared place
B. Formula 1 style, ie the one with the highest score for a weekend .The scores between 7 and 9 to be counted. In the event of the scores still being tied then shared.

Weekend 4th May Fulham v Reading = HOME Norwich v Aston Villa = DRAW Swansea v Man City = AWAY Tottenham v Southampton = HOME West Brom v Wigan = HOME West Ham v Newcastle = DRAW QPR v Arsenal = Away win Liverpool v Everton = DRAW Man Utd v Chelsea = HOME Sunderland v Stoke = DRAW Having slipped up in the last 2 weeks with a missed group of fixtures and some 'outside' bets to try to recoup loses (that failed!), my title battle is over for this year To settle the tie break it might have to come down to predicting the play offs (and scores) for promotion to the EPL as an option. Another option is to consider who has held the highest league placings during the overall season (not really fair for the late chargers!). Lastly we could always have a penalty shoot out for the last weekend of fixtures or even just toss a coin Anyway I am off to watch the highest attended league game in Britain today- some 50,000 expected at Ibrox for an end of season party ;D

Interesting - I propose that next season - assuming we have a tipster competition - we run a "monkey's choice" - one of us each week, without looking at the games, simply chooses the result randomly. Would be interesting to see what the monkey's score is at the end. on a totally Off topic note - one of my pals has sent me a link to a BBC radio 4 programme by Michael Portillo about a Junkers Ju88 www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/twftrnight fighter that landed in E Anglia in 1944. Fascinating programme, and so is the one on Magna Charta and the French Resistance. (all listened to this morning). Sorry, nothing on Croatia that I can see. Now must do some work - kesterj

This is easy to calculate which is what I did as a practice for my statistics exam few months ago. The expected number of points would be 10/3 for 10 games (1/3 for each game).
