Via an email we received...thanks!
Would you be so kind to translate this poem in Croatic language into English so I can understand ? Or do you know somebody who can help me ? You would be very helpfull.

I will give it a stab, but please note that I have never translated a poem:
My darling is like a puppy. Why do you bark, my darling, why do you bark? Do not pull the lead, and walk like all the other decent darlings. Someone could bite you, and I will have to fight for you. Hey, my darling with skinny legs, The best would be to put you in my bosom so that you can observe as all puppies with black eyes. Darling, can you hear what I am saying? Do not tease other puppies, because, beware when we come home!
------------ Maybe someone can do better?

Knowing Slamnig's works, I believe that in this song he's making heavy use of the fact that duša means both soul, and, when used affectionately, darling. That, essentially, makes this poem untranslatable.

Thought it might be interesting to see how google translates this. Oddly enough it uses both 'soul' and 'honey' as translation for duša.
All in all, not a bad translation.
My soul is like a puppy. Why are barking up, my darling, why're barking? No its worst leash and walk like all decent souls. Another would anyone mogo and bite, I still have to fight for you. Hey, my dear thin legs, it will be best to put it in his bosom, and and being there to look like every black-eyed puppy. Honey, can you hear, what I'm saying? Do not tease the other puppies because - watch out, when we get home!

Is here anybody who will help me with translating this poem into the English language POVRATAK
Ti i ne very *friendly* personiš moj povratak i moju blizinu
U noći kada šumi u tvom uhu tiha mjesečina znaj: ne koraca* mjesečina oko tvoje kuće Ja lutam plavim stazama u tvojem vrtu
Kad koracajući cestom kroz mrtvo svijetlo podne staneš preplašena krikom čudne tice znaj: to krik je moga srca s blizih obala
I kad kroz suton vidiš crnu sjenku što se miče s onu stranu mrke mirne vode znaj: ja koracam uspravan i svečan kao pored tebe

Thanks !
