Thanks but does it have the same meaning in croatian as it does in english ? i.e. She requires me to do all the thinking for her and break everything down into small instructions, then micro-manage her as she does them?

Oh, you meant it as a phrase? No, that doesn't have the same meaning. In that case, "Moram je voditi za ruku" would be more proper translation.
