Hi. I am considering renting out my apartment in Porec to someone for 5 months. They have requested if possible that it has internet access, however I really do not want to put in a phone incase they run up big bills. Does anyone know if it is possible to just install broadband internet with a wireless router, on a contract? If so who could supply that?
Thanks.

Most companies now offer like a doddle thingy, a usb plugin that gives wireless internet. Of course if they like live on the internet then this won't be the right product. Do you have cable TV in the property? My suggestion would be to have the client just pay for the full 12 month contract up front with a provider, have it installed then disconnect once they leave. Set it up that no calls can be made other then via the likes of skype.

Just tell them to get a usb wireless prepaid account stick with tele2 ... it has the best rates and then they can talk and skype at their own expense, however ....
Skyping can be very very expensive if video is turned on ... so that that solution will be expensive if they like to video skype daily.
I personally would not let anyone use my line ... have them have a line put in on their name. Simple.
