Hi We're traveling from Split to Hvar in August. I've booked tickets on the Catamaran but I notice that it says that this does not guarantee that you will travel at this time. Does this mean that we have to queue to get in and how long should we allow?
thanks

Are you sure you've booked for the catamaran and not the car ferry from Split to Stari Grad on Hvar? The whole 'no guarantee of boarding at a specific time' is a disclaimer given for car ferries, specifically targeting those travelling with cars. (There's obviously plenty of room for foot passengers on these larger ships!)

Ah I've just noticed that the tickets on the catamaran to Hear has a specific time whereas our ferry from Vis just has a date. Does this mean that we don't need to worry about getting our spot on the Catamaran as they do not oversell it and on our ferry from Vis we will be foot passengers anyway. So I guess we just turn up a little bit before both journeys? Thanks Susan

Yes, sounds good!
The Vis-Split ferry is wonderful - great views!
