Hi everyone, I have recently discovered I am pregnant, having moved to Croatia in December. We only just got our residency so haven't sorted anything out yet related to health care etc. I will share as I find things out to help other women in similar situations. If anyone has any advice on how to find pregnancy health care I would be very grateful please. Just don't know where to start! Thank you

Congratulations! I would have thought the first thing to do would be to register with a local Doctor, many speak English. He or she will then be able to guide you through the procedure and facilities in your area. There are a couple of excellent groups on Facebook for expats in Croatia, full of kind people who I’m sure would be able to offer advice and help, some of whom will have been through pregnancy and giving birth in Croatia.
