I was in Zadar today and went to see a general vet.
He is really nice guy but he does not do special work for teeth on dog.
He says my best chance is in Zagreb.
Does anyone recommend or know a vet in Zagreb that specialty is teeth for dogs?
I would really appreciate if someone has any info?
Our dog is having problems with the teeth.
Thanks

I know of a Vet in Zagreb- she is actually an Inspector for the government so she may be able to help you find a spet vet- she is Zoja Bacetic of the Zoe Klinika Zagreb 01 6116 311/312.
Have you tried the Zoo Vet in Zadar- I've found him to be excellent with modern facilities- Vukiceva 19, phone number 023 224 310?

Your car must have been bursting at the seams ghost, but in seriousness, I can put you in contact with a good guy who did my doggies teeth and not as far away as Zagreb either! Drop me a PM.

I think my wife called zoo-vet but they don't do what we need. I think my wife called one other guy at animalia in zadar also but he does not do this either. We are going to be staying a while longer in Zadar and then we are going to be going to Osijek so I am going to make a few more calls to see if anyone can help me in Osijek. If not I will be calling the number for the vet inspector in Zagreb that you gave me pretty soon. The dog is in need of a special surgery or the vet will have to take the tooth which will cause problems in eating and it is a young dog. The vet here said that some vets who specailize in teeth can fix the problem...... just like a human tooth with a like cap. The vet in zadar is a really nice honest guy...... Croatian Serb. He is a friend of a friend and did not even charge us for looking at the dog but he just does not have the facilitys or skills to do this procedure. He said we would have better luck in Zagreb. I can't wait to much longer either because of dogs feelings (lick, lick, licking all the time) and for saving of tooth. Thanks ;D so much for number of inspector. I think she will be able to solve our problem.

there is no good pet vet in osijek, the only person that i know could help you is Zoja Bacetic... she helped my dog when he got sick in osijek, i made the trip in under 2 hours by car (thankfully the police were not on the road at the time)
i know she's got a visiting vet dentist i think twice a week... also, she's got a Zoe clinic in Split too, so maybe there's a possibility for you to go to Splti if they have dentistry there? call her, suerb posted the phone.
by the way, she's not an inspector (as far as i know). she's a pet vet that worked in the states for a long time, and her standards of treating animal patients and their owners is western, not blakan type as the rest of the vets i dealt with

Ghostwriter,
my husband is a vet dentist and actually the only spet in Cro. Send me a private message and I will provide you with his phone number. Dr. Bacetic is a great vet for whom I have nothing but best to say, but does not practice dentistry.
