Anyone have a list of registry offices in Zagreb? Are there any 'nice' ones that don't look like an office block? Is City Hall nice inside?

St. Mark's Church is very beautiful. It dates from 14th century and is favourite with many people. My parents got married there (26y ago), two of my cousins and a friend.

Forgot to say that the church is in Gornji Grad so could be handy if you want to have a reception somewhere in G.Grad as well. It's not a church 'church', it's used as a registry office.

Bit confused by the 'it's not a church church' thing. You mean you can have a non-religious ceremony in it even though its a church? Thanks for tips

I think it used to be a church when it was built so thats why is called St.Mark's Church. But as far as I know it's a registry office now. Good luck with your search and with the wedding organisation! Josipa
