I am not Croatian, but I wonder if there is any Croatian website blaming Serbs for everything, like vice versa. Or Croats just do not want to waste time on stupid and futile arguments?

This is a quote from your so called 'unbiased' website www.srpska-mreza. blah blah blah Serbs were invited to settle in Krajina in 1578. Ever since Krajina was independent and separate entity from Croatia. Only since 1941 (during Croat Nazi occupation) and after 1945 (during Croat Communist Tito's rule) was Krajina assigned to be part of Croatia... You cant tell me that you seriously belive that, but then again ignorance is bliss they say....

i am not really interested in politics, but it is right that the population in Krajina was privileged during the period it existed. however as the region was ruled directly from austria, there was no local authority such as the banus represented in the other parts of croatia. the population of krajina included croats from bosnia and hercegovina, vlahs as well as serbs and even german settlers. to say that it was a homogenous region is just wrong.
it became a crownland in 1849 and was reintegrated into the kingdom of croatia-slavonia in 1881.
maybe ucp, you would like clearify this and give us your opinion on the facts mentioned above.

Krajina has always been seperate from this so called "Croatia" untill Tito designed it, and Kosovo, Serbia, Serbia Proper and Vojvodina) And please,, how could it have been part of Croatia?, Croatia was never independent and never had a chance to legally call any land "ours". (Exept for 2 short periods in history, but other than that,, nothing.)

Serbia proper is the land in between Kosovo and Vojovdina, Serbia is Serbia Proper, Vojvodina, and Kosovo. These ridiculas artificial borders were designed by Former late Yugoslav persident Tito. I am not sure about the autonomy for Voj. and Kosovo. today, it may be that it is all Serbia now (Which it should be) These borders are part of the probles serbia has had in the last 15 years..... Durnign thies time when Tito created these borders he also created all the borders for the new Yugoslavia (Post WW2) in which former un-soverign republiks such as Slovenia and Croatia (Along with Slavonia, Dalmatia, and Krajina considered "Croatia") begame entitys. (Republics)
These borders were just another stupid contraption by the communists and they did not guarntee the succeding borders of any republic which wanted to succede.
"And do you support Croatia?"
What kind of a question is this? Do I support Croatia? How do I anwer that? Support what? Somethings I support others I dont. Be more specific....Support the government? Health Care? Specific laws?
How can anyone fully support any nation. Everyone has something they disagree with....

UCP, what makes you think Krajina was not ever part of Croatia ? Then whose land is that if not Croatian ? Italian? Hungarian ? Austrian? Serbian? or Mexican maybe ? If you had ever studied history you would've known whose land Krajina has always been, it ain't even too hard to guess, hint hint.
Croatia and Slovenia were not always sovereign countries cuz of all sorts of unions and kingdomes they joined or were forced to join. If you try to deny existence of Croatia and Slovenia through the entire hystory, then you fail basic hystory class and you are not qualified for this discussion. Also you cant say that Serbia was a state all the time, can you ? Especially when you look back and see that Serbia was ruled by Ottomans for 500 years and got rid of the Turks somewhere at the beginning of 20th century.
What "this Croatia" is supposed to mean now ? What is so unclear about it ? hmm Why cant you get used to that ? We all burried that unhappy Yugoslavia almost 15 years ago. Let it rest in peace. Amen

have a look at a map of serbia in 1912. this is proper serbia. everything else is an adon, a mere accident in history.

I still dont understand your question...Although I did root for the Croatia soccer team in Euro 2004
Svugrek
Yugoslavia may be dead to many people, but it is still alive to others who wish it to come back, including both Serbs and Croats (and even others)
And Svugrek you are right! Krajina is not Serbian land! It also is not Croatia land or anybody else's expept the Mexicans! Krajina has always been Mexican land and how dare anyone say other wise! Shame on you!
Bye Bye

UCP You are not going back to so called "Krajina" region of Croatia? Watch for the mines, planted by your compatriots, as almost every week someone dies from it.
