The Uks biggest overseas property exhibition is gearing up to begin in Lonon, unfortunately not many representatives for Croatia, although stand N22 is a certain Croatian salesman. The problem is he posted on this forum with totally incorrect information regarding Croatia..........
Quote: If your only planning to stay in Croatia for one month of the year then you do not qualify for a temporary residence visa. You need a minimum of 132 days stay to qualify.
.......my only worry is what he will tell prospective UK investors and buyers!

That information is not incorrect, you don't require a temporary residence visa to stay for 1 month and they certainly wouldn't give you 1 if that's all the time you would be here. You automatically get a 3 month tourist visa when you enter croatia. Since I'm still going through the process of getting mine, I can tell you it's the last thing you'd want to get if you're only here that long. stop trying to discredit people and look at the facts first. but I guess you're just the jealous type or something.

very funny this one, but I've been going to croatia for 10 years and I've only had my passport stamped a couple of times in the beginning, now I'm just waved through. Now unless I can be bothered to register at the local MUP then who knows I'm there? As its a well known fact, that those who get things done in croatia, don't tell the government anything they don't need to know then carry on regardless, best thing to do is relax and chill and have some good vino.
Bok!

I know very little about this, but I can' t see why anybody would take a temp permit if they're just coming here for a holiday.
What's the point? Careful, you would have some credit if you used your real name.

yep, croatia's not a big place, you could see a lot of property in a short period of time provided you did your research beforehand. The biggest problem would be convincing the seller that your not a millionaire foreigner!
