Hello all,
This may be sad, but does anyone know if it is possible to buy Vegeta food spice in the UK? I bought a load in Dubrovnik last summer and it really spices up stew etc. Is there perhaps a mail-order address??? Thanks, Richard.

My sister in law gets it in a Turkish shop (i think!) in Rusholme, Manchester. If you are in that vicinity I will find and post the address.

This won't help you at all, but I've discovered upon returning to australia that vegeta and quite a few other podravka products are available here in the major supermarket chains.Even packet juha. Also Kras products are in a lot of places also. I even bought some cevapi seasoning mix to make some cevapi for a bbq and when I went to the butcher to by the mince meat I discovered that they already had pre made 'chevups' for sale. They were a lot bigger than the standard size in croatia though. Everybody at the bbq loved my home made cevapi, and will no doubt be making their own in no time.

I believe Vegeta was banned in Australia during the early 1990s, something to do with it containing MSG.

All of the major supermarkets in Australia stock Vegeta,
A variety of smaller shops stock a lot of Croatian products, Kras products, soups. Croatian Beer (karlovacko), liquors, Jamnica mineral water etc etc etc.
I love Jamnica mineral water!

Does anyone know (roughly) just how many variations of vegeta are available? OXO is a bit restricted to "meat, chicken or veggie".

rib, you've got adsl now, google it and I'm sure you'll find their website. They've got a whole bunch of geographicaly themed flavours now.
Photo croatia. Where can you get karlovacko in australia? Here in brisbane the range of imported beers is pretty poor.
