give me the serenity to accept the things that cannot be changed, the power to change the things that can be changed, and the wisdom to choose between the two. ******************************************
If it is left to the people on here who want to hold Croatia back for their own selfish relaxed lifestyle needs, Croatia will not progress.
Sadly too many of the foreigners who are attracted to Croatia are hippies who would be happy to live in caves, as long as the vino was good.

Well, I am living for a day when Croatia will become able to "face itself", and not get distracted by "surrounding" or "objective circumstances" (reasonable or unreasonable, does not mind in this case).
In other hand, there was almost 90 years of discontinuity in Croatia's cultural and civilizational identity. And search for it never went any more further then WW2, back and foreword ...
I am not looking for excuses, but unbelievable inability to profile their "objectives" and find "common language" with rest of society is main "mentality mark" of each member in this society.
Unfortunately, it is very easy to manipulate with wide population in Croatia, and not get any response back. Since they still don't understand essence of "what keeps them together", and does not fit in concepts of "ww2 ethics".
So, it is hard work in front of this society on all levels.
Politicians motivated only by greed, are just successfully covering too many empty holes left unguarded in Croatia's civil society's tissue.
I don't know how to say this "less criptic", and still hit the target.

Coastal queen: sounds like my kind of thing. Oh, to be in Garden Zadar again, watching the sunset with a glass of wine in my hand, listening to "Les nuits" by Nightmares on Wax. Pure heaven.

Living on the coast would be great, if you don't have to work and you like living in a ghost town for 7 months of the year.

My family live in Zadar and I can guarantee it's never boring there, summer or winter. And shock, horror! people do work and live normal lives there too.

He's talking about you glen, you hippy ! ;D Seriously though, in the plus 600 posts he's made, most of them having a go at others, he has yet to say what good he is doing for Croatia. I find that very odd.
