I dont know if this is true but I think most people in Croatia do not use deodorant.
In the tram it is really sickening when you have to stand nest to someone and the B.O is smacking you like a chemical weapon.
The croatians that I know dont even shower everyday. e.g my 2 bratice only shower twice a week. Their father says its unhealthy to wash more than that.
How primitive!
Anyone else notice the B.O prob in Croatia?
It would be interesting to see the soap consumption figure per capita......

You really want a nice smell ??
Go to Amsterdam when it rains and then go into the tram or train !
or
Go to Curacao and go inside some bars in the evening. It is 30 - 35 degrees overthere and people sweat..............a lot.................and they also don't take showers.
Basically, when it rains or when it is hot I guess it smells everywhere. And to be honest I don't think that the story about not showering Croatians is true. Perhaps for the older people, but I guess that is everywhere.

or another one:
Travelling on the bus or train. It always seems to happen that some sweaty and stinky person sits and then takes their shoes off.
Coming back from Ljubljana last month it happened. I had to take all my bags and change compartments.
The Zagreb-Trieste bus is even worse. There is always a bleech-blond woman that goes on the thursday bus and she has the most disgusting foot smell and always takes her shes off.
I am feeling ill now just thinking about it...........................
That would never happen in the UK, putting stinky feet on the seat.... yuk

Maybe not in all parts of the uk pip, but there are some parts that are renound for their stench.
You yourself said that the London underground was far worse than zagreb trams.
Maybe you were sitting next to me, because I never shower, I'm a smelly hippy.
Perhaps Croatians should take up the english habit of wearing socks with sandals. That would be funny.

English people do not wear socks and sandels, that is Germans and English people wash more often than Croats.

nobody will believe you , it's a well known fact that english businessmen like to wear rubber bondage gear under their normal clothes and they end up with a mighty stench. They only ever come out of the closet on internet forums to air themselves truly. Just look at your own avatar.
PS. I don't expect anyone to believe that either.

e.g my 2 bratice only shower twice a week. Their father says its unhealthy to wash more than that. your bratice?! the twice a week thing could be true I've heard that being said in the Uk aswell. Though by the coast most people are in the sea every day or other day, so they are basically bound to constantly wash
