Tonight (Thursday 11th August) is the year's highlight night for shooting stars. If we get a clear night and you fix your gaze away from the moon then you'll see dozens of streaking lights raking across the night sky at about 14,000 mph. If you can escape street lights etc, you'll get a first rate show. The earth is passing though the debris left behind by a passing comet and the grit and dust will hit our atmosphere and put on a show. However, if you prefer, god dunnit.
Just thought I'd mention it.

Yes, there goes the International space station, some spy satellites (was that a Toshiba satellite?), the man on the moon and ET. Will keep my eyes pealed.
