Does anyone know where I can find out the exact dates for this year's ban on outside building work during the tourist season? I know its is typically mid-June to mid-September but does anyone know if it varies from place to place?

I believe the ban is effective during the "official" tourist season. This is from 1/6 to 30/9.

My neighbour who is carrying our building work was convinced it was from 15th June to 15th September.

Is this just in tourist areas? It must be difficult for building firms who can't do much outside work in the winter months because of overnight frost.

I just looked at 3 different places, each with different dates. Opatija starts 15th May !!
search Ograničenje radova tijekom turističke sezone and the name of your opcina or town.

Yes it depends where you - sometimes 1 June and sometime 1 July. Usually ends 1 Sept but with Croatia wanting to extend its tourist season by as much as possible, (and so it should) who knows ....!!
