Hi All,
I from Malaysia and travel in Croatia on 7 - 12Oct.
I am consider to drive in Croatia as below:
1. Zagreb - plitvice lakes on 8 - 10Oct (2night stay)
2. Plitvice lake to Jastrebarsko 10 - 11Oct (1 night stay)
3. Jastrebarsko - Zagreb 11 - 12Oct (1 night stay)
I am still considering on drive to Jastrebarsko to experience the wineyard as this is my first time driving oversea. how hard is drive from Plitvice lake to Jastrebarsko?
my alternative plan is to drive from Plitvice lake to Zadar. however I need to rush back to Zagreb on 12 Oct morning for my bus to Vienna. Do you think 1 night stay at Zadar is sufficient to enjoy the town?

Plitivice you can see in one day and you don't really need two nights there, or even one night for that matter but it depends on when you arrive. You are better off going to Zadar from Plitvice as you are at a half way point there. Again, with such a tight itinerary, you could also see Zadar in one day, stroll around beautiful old town. Make sure you see the sea organ and try to do that late in the day so you can see the sunset from there as it's beautiful. Make your way back from Zadar to Jastrebarsko, it's about a 3 hour drive (I live near Jastrebarsko). The drive through that wine region is really beautiful. I would suggest that you drive throught that region to Samobor, which is another beautiful and quaint little town. Stay in Samobor because then you are only half an hour away from Zagreb. You should always be near the town that you leave from in the morning (I say that from experience). Driving back from Zadar to Zagreb is far too risky that you could come across an accident then you would miss your bus for sure.
